Carry out market research for thermal insulation products for industrial and household use
in Russia and other western countries and prepare a business plan for expansion and modernization
of the company's production facilities.
Production of corrugated cardboard packaging, diversification and marketing.
Creation of 28 new jobs, including 25 for former employees of MCK.
Summary
Based in Zheleznogorsk, "Vermiculite" Ltd. seeking to expand and modernize its production facilities
to manufacture thermal insulation products.
CNCP was requested for a grant which would allow "Vermiculite" Ltd. to manufacture its own
packaging, thus creating new jobs, improving the overall production efficiency and reducing costs.
Construction of an up-to-date
compressor plant, and the purchase of high-performance compressor facilities would allow
"Vermiculite", Ltd. to launch a second vermiculite bloating line, doubling production output.
The new equipment for the compressor plant would reduce and even minimize the down time of furnaces
due to the lack of pressure in the systems.
Cost
The total cost of the project is £192,500. The contribution requested from DTI is £144,300.
