Expansion of the project "Snezhinsk Center of Energy Saving and Diagnostics"

Objectives

  • To get knowledge and develop skills in the field of energy consultancy and diagnostics to render new services in a growing market of energy saving and efficient use.
  • To create 5 new high-qualified jobs in ZATO Snezhinsk, including 3 ones for former employees of RFNC-VNITF.

Summary

The Company "Diagnostics and Energy Efficiency, LLC" (hereinafter DiagEn, LLC.) was founded in 2004 under active support of UK-RF CNCP. The program completely funded formation of material and technical basis, staff training and instruction, licensing of services; and covered labour and office maintenance costs before the company started its commercial activity. In September 2006 CNCP recognized project results satisfactory and project monitoring was over. Implementation of the project allowed to create 7 new non-military jobs, including 5 jobs for former weapon scientists.

Cost

Total cost of the project is £66,587. The BERR's contribution is £29,707. DiagEn, Ltd. funds of £36,880, including in-kind contribution of £15,695.

Duration

24 months - starting March 2007.
