Objectives

• To set up a production of new competitive produce: gas permeable hard lenses, including individually made ones (astigmatism, keratoconus, aphacia, multifocal lenses, orthokeratology), soft contact lenses of planned replacement with a wearing period from 1 day to 3 months, colored and tinted.
• To achieve production output of 8 000 pieces per month after the first year of operation to 15 000 pieces during the third year of operation.
• Arrange sales of own-made contact lenses in two ways:
  1) Fitting of contact lenses and retail sales in own optical shops in Snezhinsk, Ozersk and Chelyabinsk;
  2) Wholesale of contact lenses to producers of optics in the Urals.
• To create 10 high-skilled jobs, more than a half of which are designated for released employees of RFNC-VNIITF.

Summary

Investment project aimed at setting up an advanced complete laboratory for manufacturing of hard gas-permeable, astigmatic, soft and silicon-hydrogel contact lenses for optical companies and firms of the Urals. The project will provide for individual manufacturing of lenses correcting eye sight at astigmatism, keratoconus, orthoceratology, and arrange production of soft hydrofoil contact lenses for wholesales.

As a result of Project implementation the number of jobs increases from 4 till 14. From them number of jobs for former employees of nuclear complex enterprise RFNC-VNIITF participating in CNCP Progamme is 6.
