Creation of a production line with up-to-date innovative technologies for the
manufacture of swivel joints for pipelines and pipeline components with swivel joints;
Creation of a new generation of unloading platforms ensuring safe handling of oil
products, liquefied gas and volatile chemical products. The platforms would be made of
metal pipes connected by waterproof swivel joints, replacing the existing and unsatisfactory
system of flexible pipes made from rubber and polymer materials;
Enter new competitive markets, ie gas, oil and food industries;
Create 17 new highly qualified jobs, 12 of which will be filled by former employees of RFNC-VNIITF;
Achieve a sales volume of £250,000 - £300,000 per year.

qualifications and capabilities, developed whilst working in the main production units of VNIITF.
Main areas of application for the unloading platforms are:
Unloading oil products and liquified hydrocarbon gas;
Loading and unloading liquid, gaseous and other substances from railway and automobile transport;
Transportating sand, cement, concrete and other similar materials to the working site for
the construction industry;
Food stuffs manufacturing and processing plants.
Cost
Total cost of the project is £280,577. The DTI's contribution is £150,415.
