The project will create 18 new jobs including 10 jobs for former Mayak Chemical Kombinat employees.
Summary
The Ozersk Granite Plant, Ltd. was established in May 2004 and rents capital assets of the constructed
granite working plant in Ozersk.
The enterprise started production in September 2004.
The high quality of its products (in terms of geometry dimensions, polishing and wide range) allowed entry into the market of items made of natural stones in Chelyabinsk.
The first large customers from Udmurtiya, Yekaterinburg and Tymen region were attracted.
In order to meet customers demand, the plant is intended to have the entire set of equipment allowing for manufacturing of not only modular bricks, but steps,
borders, mounting bases and complete range of granite items.
Purchase of additional equipment in the framework of CNCP Programme will allow an increase in the turnover at the plant of 250% and the
company in the market of modular granite items.
Cost
Total cost of the project is £444,000. The DTI's contribution is £120,000.
