Summary
Ozersk Confectionery is a company established and managed by former nuclear weapons engineer
from Mayak. It produces high-quality confectionery products and sells them through retail outlets in
Ozersk, and throughout the Urals and Siberia. The core product is cream confectionery (55%),
with shortbread and flaky/puff confectionery items representing the remainder of their product mix.
The DTI grant supports the purchase of new equipment and hiring of additional personnel to expand
the company's product range and increase its sales capacity.
Cost
Total cost of the project is £50,000. The DTI's contribution is £35,000.
